Meet The Arizona Spay & Neuter Clinic Staff
Dr. Mel Pence Hi, I am Dr. Mel Pence. I have been working as a veterinary practitioner for over 35 years. I began my career in rural mixed animal practice and after 25 years I went back to Iowa State to obtain my masters in veterinary medicine. I then spent 10 years at the University of Georgia teaching clinical practice and doing clinically related research, retiring as a professor prior to coming to the valley. I now enjoy the challenges of an active surgical practice, working with our clients and their various pets. I have been married for 43 years to a wonderfully lady; Pam. We have one daughter, a son-in-law and grandson here in the valley. We also have two young dogs, one a mixed rescue and one Schnauzer. You can see them at the office, as they come to work with me everyday. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns and I will do my best to answer them. |
